TTSPORT Brings Big Brake Kits to the 2021 AIT Tuning Show in Dongguan
On August 22, the 2021 China International Auto Tuning Show (AIT) opened its doors at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. Now in its ninth year, AIT has grown into one of China's biggest tuning shows, and TTSPORT was on the floor with a full lineup of big brake kits — headlined by a Porsche 911 demo car running a front 10-piston, rear 4-piston ceramic brake setup.

TTSPORT kept its usual red brand color running through the whole booth build. AIT has become a real hub for China's aftermarket scene, and this year's edition pulled in tuning shops, wheel and suspension brands, and a heavy crowd of car owners looking for parts that actually do something on track or on the street — not just look good.
The Show Car: Ceramic Big Brake Kit on a Porsche 911
The centerpiece was a Porsche 911 fitted with a full ceramic big brake kit, front and rear. Against the black wheels, the caliper and rotor package really stood out — this is the kind of build meant to show what a properly engineered ceramic setup can look like on a street car, not just a race car.
Up front, the 911 runs a monoblock 10-piston caliper clamping a 410x38mm ceramic-composite rotor. Ceramic rotors run cooler under repeated hard stops than iron discs of the same size, which matters a lot for a heavier car like the 911 — less fade means the pedal stays consistent lap after lap, or stop after stop in traffic.
The rear gets a 4-piston caliper on a 400x28mm ceramic rotor — sized to match front bias and keep brake balance where Porsche intended it, rather than just bolting on the biggest parts available.
The Lineup on Display
Alongside the 911, the booth had TTSPORT's front 4-piston and 6-piston calipers on stands, plus rear big-rotor kits running a redesigned bracket with a dress-up cap over the mounting hardware — a small detail, but one that cleans up the look behind the wheel.
There was also a BMW M Performance-style 6-piston caliper and an AMG-fitment caliper paired with a ceramic brake kit on the table — both drew a steady crowd of owners asking about fitment for their own cars.
A Packed Show Floor
The aisles stayed busy all day. TTSPORT staff spent most of the show walking owners through fitment questions and brake basics — piston count, rotor sizing, why a stiffer caliper body matters for pedal feel — rather than just handing out flyers.
More Than a Show
Between the builds and the crowd, 2021 AIT Dongguan felt less like a trade show and more like a reunion for people who actually work on cars. Exhibitors put real effort into their booths and brought out their newest and strongest parts, turning the hall into one big gathering for the tuning community.
AIT keeps pushing China's aftermarket forward, and it's already the country's biggest tuning show — a real meeting point for car owners and brands alike. As domestic manufacturing keeps improving, hopefully more homegrown aftermarket brands step up and help the industry grow.
