D1GP Thailand: TTSPORT and Ebisu Team Orange Take the Podium

At the D1 Grand Prix Thailand round, held on the high-speed layout of Chang International Circuit in Buriram, TTSPORT teamed up with Japan's legendary Ebisu Team Orange. Running TTSPORT's drift-specific front and rear brake system, the squad's drivers came home with a 2nd and a 3rd place finish, both landing in the Top 8.

A Partnership Built on Drift Pedigree

For this D1GP Thailand round, TTSPORT partnered with Ebisu Team Orange, the storied Japanese drift outfit led by Nobushige Kumakubo — a D1 champion and the action coordinator behind The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Kumakubo's decades of seat time and competition instincts gave TTSPORT a demanding, real-world proving ground for its braking hardware, far removed from the controlled setting of a bench test.

The whole team lineup rolled into Buriram running the same TTSPORT setup front and rear — a rare chance to see one product spec validated across multiple cars and driving styles in a single weekend of competition.

Built for Drift: The TTSPORT System on Track

Front: DR6 Six-Piston Drift Caliper

Every car on the team ran the forged DR6 six-piston caliper up front. Forging gives the caliper body more rigidity under load, which matters when a driver is stabbing the pedal repeatedly through a long drift sequence — a flexing caliper bleeds pedal feel and consistency exactly when the driver needs it most. Strong, linear output and solid resistance to heat fade kept braking predictable run after run, even as pad and rotor temperatures climbed through back-to-back qualifying passes.

Rear: DR4+2 Dual-Circuit System

Out back, the cars used TTSPORT's DR4+2 six-piston dual-circuit setup, which separates foot-brake and hand-brake hydraulics into independent circuits. That separation is what lets a driver kick the rear loose with the hand brake while still holding full, isolated control over the footbrake for line correction mid-slide. The result is finer control over the initiation and angle of every drift — the kind of precise, repeatable slide that judges reward and TTSPORT calls "race technology for the street."

Buriram's Chang International Circuit is known for its fast layout and unforgiving technical demands, which put real stress on both cars and brake systems all weekend. Against that backdrop, two Ebisu Team Orange drivers running TTSPORT hardware finished inside the Top 8:
