Porsche 911 Track Build Upgrades to TTSPORT TR65 Brakes
A Porsche 911 that spends its weekends at GIC International Circuit, ZIC Zhuhai, and the mountain roads of Nankun has just moved up from the TTSPORT EB8 eight-piston caliper to the TTSPORT TR65 — a one-piece forged, six-piston racing caliper built on the same platform raced in the CTCC (China Touring Car Championship).
A 911 That Lives on the Track
Since the 901's debut in 1963, the 911 has built its reputation on a rear-mounted flat-six and a chassis that keeps evolving. This particular car belongs to an owner who treats GIC, ZIC, and Nankun's mountain passes as a second home. Between hard track days and hard cornering on public roads, the stock brakes ran into a familiar wall: repeated hard stops and sustained heat expose fade, inconsistent pedal feel, and durability limits that street-tuned hardware just isn't built for.
