The Xiaomi SU7's brake setup gets debated a lot. Higher trims come with big four-piston front calipers, but they're matched to pads with a fairly small friction area — enough for everyday stopping, but not much of a margin once you start driving harder. This Founder's Edition SU7, upgraded by Minzhong Technical Service Center, swaps in a TTSPORT front-eight/rear-four carbon-ceramic big brake kit to close that gap.
The stock caliper does its job, but with limited pad contact area it runs out of headroom quickly under repeated hard stops. Bigger pistons, more friction area, and a heavier rotor buy back that margin — which is the whole idea behind this build.

Why It Works
The EB8's two-piece forged aluminum body is stiffer than a stock caliper housing, so less pedal energy gets absorbed by caliper flex under hard braking — that's a big part of what pedal feel actually comes down to. Eight pistons across a larger total piston area spread clamping force more evenly over the pad, and the vented, lightweight design helps the caliper shed heat instead of holding it.

- Less fade: the larger carbon-ceramic rotors and vented caliper design help control heat buildup during repeated hard stops.

At the rear, the TTSPORT four-piston caliper handles service braking while a built-in single-piston electronic actuator takes care of the parking brake — the same caliper covers both jobs.
