But on a car that already runs a multi-piston front caliper from the factory, the real bottleneck usually isn't the caliper — it's the rotor's material and heat capacity. The rear axle plays a more supporting role, mainly stabilizing the car under braking rather than generating the bulk of stopping force. That's why this build takes a simpler, cost-conscious approach at the rear: a 330mm high-carbon oversized rotor increases rear brake participation and keeps the car more stable and less nose-heavy under hard stops, without the added cost of a carbon-ceramic rear rotor.
