BMW M4 (G82) Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Evolution EB8 & EP4S
The BMW M4 (G82) leaves the factory with an M Compound six-piston front / single-piston rear brake system that handles daily driving fine, but track sessions expose the gap between 530 horsepower and the stock brakes' heat capacity. To close that gap, this M4 was fitted with a TTSPORT Evolution EB8 eight-piston front and EP4S rear big brake kit paired with carbon-ceramic rotors — more piston area, more clamping surface, and a rotor material built to shrug off repeated hard stops.
The build swaps both axles: TTSPORT's forged Evolution EB8 caliper up front and the EPB-compatible EP4S caliper out back, riding on 405mm and 380mm carbon-ceramic rotors respectively. The goal wasn't just more bite — it was consistent pedal feel lap after lap.

Why It Works
- The EB8's eight-piston, two-piece forged aluminum body spreads clamping force across a larger pad area than the stock six-piston caliper, which reduces flex under hard braking and keeps the pedal feeling linear instead of mushy.
- Two-piece, heat-insulated pistons with dust boots limit heat transfer into the brake fluid, which is one of the main causes of a soft, fading pedal after repeated hard stops.
- Carbon-ceramic rotors run roughly 60% of the weight of a same-size cast-iron disc, cutting unsprung and rotating mass while resisting the thermal fade and corrosion that eventually degrade steel rotors.
- The EP4S keeps the factory electronic parking brake intact by pairing four service-brake pistons with a dedicated single-piston EPB actuator, so the rear axle gains stopping power without losing the OEM parking brake function.
- Vehicle-specific brackets and radial-mount calipers are sized to clear factory wheels at the recommended wheel sizes, so there's no spacer needed to make the bigger rotors and calipers fit.
