TTSPORT Becomes 2025 CTCC Title Sponsor of YiTRON Racing
TTSPORT is now the full-season title sponsor of Shanghai YiTRON Racing in China's top-tier CTCC (China Touring Car Championship) for the 2025 season, putting TTSPORT's high-performance brake systems to the test on one of the country's most competitive circuits.
A Full-Season Partnership, Signed and Sealed
On April 23, 2025, TTSPORT and YiTRON Racing finalized a full-season title sponsorship agreement at YiTRON's Shanghai headquarters. TTSPORT founder Lin Qi (left) and YiTRON team principal Sun Hui (right) signed the deal in person, formalizing a partnership built around one goal: proving TTSPORT braking hardware under real race conditions.
This is more than a badge on the door. The agreement locks in joint development and extreme-condition testing of TTSPORT's high-performance brake systems on track, with CTCC race weekends serving as the proving ground. It's also a deliberate step in TTSPORT's push into international motorsport markets.
For 2025, the team's race livery, driver suits, and pit garage design all switch over to a unified TTSPORT visual identity — a sharper, more technical look meant to carry the brand's "championship genes, not just on the track" philosophy from the paddock to the podium.
Two Teams, One Track Record
YiTRON Racing
Founded in 2008 as FRC, the Shanghai-based squad made its CTCC debut in 2010 and immediately took a race win and the year's clubman team title. Rebranded as YiTRON in 2018, the team has since grown into one of China's leading full-service race car engineering outfits, supplying programs across the country's top series.
TTSPORT
Founded in 2004 under Guangzhou Minzhong Auto Technology, TTSPORT was mainland China's first independent performance brake brand. The company builds its calipers and rotors on the same manufacturing standards used by top-level international racing programs — not just adapted for the street.

The Car and the Drivers
The No. 109 Honda Civic runs in CTCC's TC1 class with a 1.5T engine producing 360 horsepower and a race weight of 1,190 kg — enough power-to-weight that stopping distance and brake consistency matter as much as straight-line speed.
Sun Zheng has raced CTCC since 2010 and brings a string of race wins along with an aggressive, experienced driving style. Wang Wenbin pairs solid seat time with data engineering chops, reading telemetry between sessions to flag performance bottlenecks and push setup changes — a driver-engineer combo the team is counting on for the title fight.
Beyond CTCC: TTSPORT Across Motorsport
CTCC is just one part of TTSPORT's motorsport footprint. Rally driver Huang Weizhi runs TTSPORT's liquid-cooled caliper system at the Dakar Rally and the China Tarim Rally, where the design's job is holding stable bite and dissipating heat over long, punishing stages across extreme terrain.
