The shop's brief was straightforward: give a mid-to-large EV crossover more front braking hardware without touching wheel offset or clearance. TTSPORT's EB8 was spec'd for exactly that kind of application — mid/large sedans, SUVs, and select high-performance platforms — and slots in with a vehicle-specific bracket rather than a universal adapter.

The caliper body is a split forged design, built in high-strength aluminum with a symmetrical, lightweight cutout pattern on each half. That opens up more surface area for airflow to reach the caliper while cutting mass — a combination meant to hold up to repeated hard stops without the flex or heat buildup that wears on a stock caliper.
Why It Works
- Two-piece, eight-piston layout with heat-insulated pistons and dust boots — the piston sealing and hard metal piston covers are said to improve heat dissipation and rigidity by around 30%, translating to firmer, more consistent pedal feel under repeated braking.
- The 405x34mm high-carbon, heat-treated rotor adds mass and swept area over the factory disc, giving the system more thermal capacity to resist fade on longer or repeated stops.
- A vehicle-specific bracket keeps the whole assembly in the factory geometry — no spacers — so it clears the Zeekr X's stock 21-inch wheels while still meeting the EB8's stated 19-inch-and-up wheel requirement.
