Porsche 718 Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Evolution EB8/ES4
Stock brakes on a performance car like the Porsche 718 can start feeling overwhelmed once you push into track days or spirited mountain driving — pedal travel grows, fade creeps in, and confidence drops. This case comes from our authorized distributor in Malaysia, who fitted a customer's 718 with a TTSPORT Evolution Series big brake kit: an eight-piston EB8 up front and a four-piston ES4 out back.

The car rides on 20-inch wheels, which leaves enough room behind the spokes for a genuine big-caliper upgrade without touching wheel offset or spacers.

Why It Works

Up front, the EB8's eight-piston, two-piece forged design spreads clamping force more evenly across the pad than a smaller stock caliper can. The open, heavily-relieved caliper body and two-piece heat-insulated pistons help pull heat away from the fluid and pads faster, which matters most when the car is being worked hard for more than one hot lap or one hard descent.
- Stronger, more even clamping force from the front eight-piston EB8 caliper for more stable, more repeatable stops.
- Open caliper body and two-piece heat-insulated pistons dissipate heat more effectively, helping resist fade under sustained hard braking.
- Rear ES4 four-piston calipers balance front-to-rear brake bias, reducing the risk of the rear stepping out under hard braking, especially on wet or uneven pavement.
- Adding real rear brake capacity evens out pad wear front-to-rear, which stretches service life on the whole brake system.
