The included stainless steel lines carry an outer soft-metal sleeve that protects the hose from abrasion and road debris — a small detail, but one that keeps the flexible line from wearing through where it routes near the strut and knuckle.
Why It Works

- Moving to a 330x28mm rotor from the smaller factory disc adds swept area and thermal mass, giving the system more capacity to absorb heat before fade sets in.
- Four pistons across two diameters (38mm and 41mm) spread clamping force more evenly across the pad face than a factory single- or dual-piston caliper, which helps even pad wear and pedal consistency.
On the styling side, the 5440's caliper fills out the wheel opening noticeably better than the stock brakes on the 17-inch wheel, and it still reads as a purposeful upgrade behind the larger 18-inch wheel without looking undersized.
