NIO ET5T Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Evolution EB6
The stock brakes on a NIO ET5T can feel overwhelmed once you start pushing the car harder — a soft pedal, fade under repeated hard stops, and a general lack of confidence at the limit. A partner shop tackled this with a TTSPORT Evolution Series EB6 front big brake kit, swapping in a six-piston forged caliper and a larger rotor to give the car a firmer pedal and more consistent stopping power.
The finished setup sits behind the ET5T's factory 20-inch wheels with no visual compromise — just a noticeably beefier caliper filling the spokes and a larger rotor doing more of the work every time the driver gets on the brakes.

Why It Works
The EB6 caliper body is forged in two pieces and, for the first time in this design, uses a through-caliper reinforcement bar tying the halves together. A stiffer caliper flexes less under hard clamping loads, which means more of the pedal input actually goes into pad-to-rotor clamping force instead of getting absorbed by caliper deformation — the difference between a firm pedal and a mushy one.
- Two-piece heat-insulated pistons with dust boots and optimized seals keep temperatures from soaking into the fluid, so pedal feel stays consistent under repeated hard stops.
- An asymmetric piston layout (large, medium, and small pistons) evens out clamping pressure across the pad surface, producing more linear, predictable braking rather than uneven pad wear or grabby response.
- The 380mm high-carbon heat-treated rotor adds mass and swept area over the factory disc, giving the system more heat capacity to resist fade — and the EB6 platform scales up to 390mm or 410mm on cars with larger wheels.
