That's exactly the issue this MINI's owner brought to Hangzhou Chedao, and the fix was a straightforward one: swap the factory front calipers for TTSPORT's Evolution Series ES6 — a forged, six-piston big brake kit built for daily street driving as well as harder use.
The car runs 19-inch wheels, which gave plenty of room to fit the larger front hardware. TTSPORT's shop installed the ES6 caliper along with a 380x32mm high-carbon, heat-treated rotor on the front axle, using a bracket and lines built specifically for this application — no spacers, no wheel changes.

Why It Works
The ES6 is a street-oriented performance caliper. Its body uses a through-bolt design with an asymmetric, lightened structure — TTSPORT states this adds roughly 20-30% more rigidity than a conventional layout, which matters because a caliper that flexes under clamping load is exactly what produces a spongy pedal in the first place. A stiffer body converts more of your pedal input directly into clamping force at the pad.
Inside, the two-piece heat-insulated pistons with dust boots and an optimized seal design help the caliper shed heat more evenly, so braking force stays consistent under sustained or harder use rather than fading as things heat up. Paired with the larger 380x32mm rotor's added mass and heat capacity over the stock disc, the combination gives more consistent bite lap after lap or stop after stop.
