Mercedes-Benz C200 Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Evolution ES6
Hard braking exposes the limits of a stock setup fast — pedal travel grows, fade creeps in, and confidence drops right when you need it most. A Malaysian TTSPORT dealer addressed that on a Mercedes-Benz C200 with a front axle upgrade to the TTSPORT Evolution Series ES6 big brake kit, paired with 380mm rotors and running clean behind the car's factory 19-inch wheels.
The goal here wasn't a track-only setup — it's a daily-driven C200 that needed a firmer pedal and more consistent stopping power under repeated hard use, without giving up wheel fitment or ride comfort.

Why It Works
Forged Rigidity for a Firmer Pedal
The ES6 caliper body is forged in two pieces and uses a through-bolt reinforcement bar to tie the halves together. A stiffer caliper flexes less under clamp load, so pedal effort goes into squeezing the pads instead of stretching the caliper — the reason the pedal feels shorter and more predictable at the top of the stroke.
Inside, the two-piece heat-insulated pistons with dust boots and refined seal design help the caliper apply force more evenly across the pad, which keeps braking consistent through repeated hard stops rather than tapering off as things heat up.
Less Unsprung Weight
The ES6's asymmetric, heavily machined body is lighter than a comparable symmetric forged caliper. Less mass at the corner means less unsprung weight for the suspension to control, which helps the suspension react faster and track the road more closely. A lighter overall car also benefits fuel economy and acceleration.
- 380mm x 32mm high-carbon, heat-treated rotor for more thermal mass and fade resistance than the stock disc
- Runs behind the C200's factory 19-inch wheel with the vehicle-specific bracket in this build
- ES6 is sized for mid-to-large sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and performance-oriented upgrades
