Why It Works
A forged six-piston front caliper does two things a stock single- or twin-piston sliding caliper can't: it clamps evenly across a wider pad face, and the forged aluminum body flexes far less under hard braking. Less flex means the pedal stays firm and predictable instead of going soft as heat and pressure build. The stainless steel pistons in the TT9040 also react faster and hold up better under sustained high temperatures, which keeps the bite consistent lap after lap or stop after stop.
The 355x32mm front rotor adds mass and surface area over the factory disc, giving the brakes more thermal capacity to absorb heat before fade sets in. The curved-vane design and thermal treatment help move air through the rotor faster, so heat gets pulled out between stops instead of building up.
