Lynk & Co 03+ Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 8611
Lynk & Co built the 03+ as a street-focused sport sedan — high-output 2.0T power (250 hp / 187 kW / 254 PS), aero and carbon-fiber trim, and a driver-first attitude. But the factory brake hardware underneath doesn't always match that attitude. This 03+ owner in Kunming swapped the stock setup for a TTSPORT TT8611 forged six-piston kit, and the result is a car that finally stops the way it looks like it should.
The build: a TTSPORT TT8611 forged six-piston front caliper, paired with a 343mm x 28mm high-carbon heat-treated curved-vane rotor and TTSPORT stainless steel brake lines. The car runs 17-inch wheels, and the kit was sized to fit behind them without spacers.

Why It Works
- The TT8611 caliper body is forged from high-strength aluminum alloy rather than cast — forging produces a denser, stiffer structure than factory cast calipers, so less of the driver's pedal input gets lost to caliper flex under hard braking.
- Forged construction also cuts weight versus the factory cast unit. Less unsprung mass at each corner means the suspension can react to the road instead of fighting caliper heft, and it takes some load off the pedal too.
- The larger six-piston layout spreads clamping force across more pad area than a factory two- or single-piston caliper, which helps even out pad wear and gives a more linear, predictable pedal feel as brake temperature climbs.
- The 343mm x 28mm curved-vane rotor adds swept area and thermal mass compared with the stock disc, so the system has more capacity to absorb and shed heat before fade sets in.
The caliper's fluorescent green finish wasn't just picked for looks — it's a common request from owners who want the upgrade to be visible through the wheel spokes, not just felt at the pedal.

A confident driver cares about more than how the 03+ rides — braking performance and pedal feel matter just as much. This TTSPORT upgrade gives the car a firmer, more linear pedal and more consistent stopping power, whatever the situation. Thanks to the Kunming dealer Juntu for supplying the photos of this build.
