Li Auto Mega Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Mono EMB6
A soft, long-travel pedal under hard braking is one of the clearest signs that a stock brake setup has hit its limit. For this Li Auto Mega, the fix came from Fish Head Auto Shop (鱼头车铺), who installed a TTSPORT Mono Series EMB6 big brake kit up front — a forged six-piston caliper paired with a 355mm high-carbon, heat-treated rotor, built to bolt up behind the vehicle's 18-inch wheels.
The Mega is a large, heavy electric MPV, and mass like that puts real demand on the front brakes every time the driver gets on the pedal hard — whether that's a highway off-ramp or a full stop in traffic. Swapping in a bigger, stiffer caliper and rotor gives the system more clamping force and more thermal mass to work with, without touching the wheels or suspension.

Why It Works
The EMB6 is machined from a single forged block rather than assembled from two halves, with a through-bolt reinforcing rod tying the caliper body together. That one-piece construction resists flex under load, so pedal effort goes into clamping the rotor instead of stretching the caliper.
- Six pistons spread clamping force across a larger pad area, giving the front axle more stopping power and a more stable feel under hard braking.
- Two-piece, external heat-dissipating pistons with optimized seals keep bite consistent during hard or repeated stops rather than fading as things heat up.
- Vented piston design and refined seals produce a more linear, progressive pedal feel, which is especially noticeable at highway speed.
- An aggressively hollowed, lightweight caliper structure sheds heat faster, which slows brake fade and helps the system hold its performance over longer stints.
- Rotor size can be matched to the wheel: TTSPORT offers 355mm, 380mm, or 405mm high-carbon, heat-treated discs for this platform depending on wheel diameter.
