Why It Works
The TT5440 is a two-piece forged aluminum caliper rather than a single-piece casting, which means less flex under load — pedal effort goes into clamping the rotor instead of deforming the caliper body. Its four star-profile pistons (two 38mm, two 41mm) add up to 49.1cm² of piston area per side, spreading clamping force across the pad more evenly than a smaller factory caliper can.
Larger rotors matter too: the 330x28mm front and 345x12mm rear two-piece rotors carry more mass and surface area than the stock discs, so they absorb and shed more heat before fade sets in. And because the kit is sized to a minimum spoke clearance of 86mm and built around vehicle-specific brackets, it installs behind the Lexus NX's factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels without spacers.
