Why It Works
The TT5440 body is forged in two pieces rather than cast, which gives the caliper more structural rigidity under clamping load — a stiffer body flexes less when the pads squeeze the rotor, so more of the pedal input actually translates into clamping force instead of getting absorbed by the caliper itself.
The rotor side of the kit uses a Dacromet-coated three-curve design at 330x28mm, which the source notes has a higher friction coefficient than a standard rotor, directly improving stopping performance. Stainless steel lines round out the kit — braided stainless resists ballooning under hydraulic pressure the way rubber lines can, which keeps the pedal response consistent.
