Honda Civic (10th Gen) Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Slim Series

by LinLynn 16 Jul 2026

Honda's 10th-generation Civic packs a 1.5T turbo good for 177 hp behind a CVT — plenty of go for a compact sedan. The rear brakes, though, are sized like an economy car's, and behind a 17-inch wheel they look (and feel) undersized once you start driving the car the way it wants to be driven. This case swaps in a TTSPORT rear big rotor kit — a 325x10mm two-piece rotor plus steel-braided lines — at the factory mounting position, no spacers and no caliper swap required.

The 17-inch OEM wheel now shows a noticeably larger rotor face filling the barrel — a straightforward visual check that the swap clears the factory wheel with room to spare.

The rotor bolts up at the stock rear caliper location, keeping the factory caliper in play while adding diameter and thermal mass where the OEM disc runs thin.

Why It Works

Going from the factory rear disc to a 325x10mm rotor adds swept area and thermal mass — more surface to bleed off heat, so repeated braking is less likely to fade the rear pedal feel. The two-piece design (separate hat and iron ring) keeps the added diameter from turning into a big unsprung-weight penalty.

The steel-braided lines are wrapped in wire mesh with an outer abrasion layer, which limits hose expansion under pedal pressure. Less hose swell means less of your pedal travel gets absorbed before the caliper actually clamps.

  • Installs at the factory rear caliper location — no spacers, no OEM caliper swap
  • 325×10mm rotor adds heat capacity and swept area over the stock rear disc
  • Confirmed to fit behind the stock 17-inch wheel in this install
  • Steel-braided lines reduce hose expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal

FAQ

Does this rear big rotor kit require swapping the caliper?
No. The kit pairs a TTSPORT 325x10mm rotor with a custom hat machined to match the factory hub data, so the Civic's OEM rear caliper bolts back on with the supplied bracket. No caliper replacement is needed.
Will the 325mm rear rotor fit behind the stock 17-inch wheels?
Yes. According to the installer, the 325x10mm rotor installs at the factory mounting position on this 10th-gen Civic without modification to the hub or wheel fitment.
What rotor face patterns are available for the Civic rear kit?
TTSPORT offers this 325x10mm rear rotor in three face patterns: drilled, plain (smooth-face), and curved-vane slot.
