Honda Accord Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 9040

by LinLynn 16 Jul 2026

This Honda Accord went in for a full front-to-rear brake overhaul—forged six-piston calipers up front and a rare rear-axle upgrade that keeps the factory electric parking brake intact. It's a straightforward case, but the rear EPB integration is the part most shops get wrong, so it's worth walking through.

The Accord's stock brakes are fine for daily driving, but owners pushing the car harder—or just wanting sharper pedal response—commonly find the factory calipers run out of clamping force and feel vague under load. TTSPORT built out both a front kit and a matching rear kit, including a caliper that preserves the car's electronic parking brake, so the whole car gets upgraded together instead of just the front axle.

Vehicle & Kit Specs

Here's exactly what went on the car:

Item Specification
Vehicle Honda Accord, 19-inch factory wheels
Front caliper TTSPORT 9040 forged six-piston caliper
Front rotor TTSPORT 362x32mm high-carbon, heat-treated curved-vane rotor
Rear caliper TTSPORT 6411 cast four-piston caliper with integrated EPB (electric parking brake) motor
Rear rotor TTSPORT 355x28mm high-carbon, heat-treated curved-vane rotor
Lines TTSPORT stainless steel brake lines

The front TT9040 caliper is a forged, fixed six-piston design—forging keeps the caliper body stiffer under load than a cast piece, which is a big part of why pedal feel improves after the swap.

Why It Works

  • A forged, fixed six-piston caliper flexes less than a stock sliding caliper under hard braking, which translates into a firmer, more linear pedal instead of a spongy one.
  • Larger 362x32mm front and 355x28mm rear rotors carry more mass, giving the system more heat capacity before fade sets in on repeated hard stops.
  • The rear TT6411 caliper's built-in EPB motor means the factory electric parking brake keeps functioning normally after the swap—no separate parking brake workaround, no warning lights.
  • The kit was fitted and confirmed to clear the Accord's 19-inch factory wheels with no spacers needed.

Front and rear torque specs were followed exactly to factory-standard values during install, with caliper bolts and bracket hardware tightened using a calibrated torque wrench—the kind of detail that matters as much as the parts themselves.

Does this TTSPORT kit retain the Honda Accord's electric parking brake?
Yes. The rear TTSPORT 6411 caliper integrates a small EPB motor, so the factory electronic parking brake continues to work exactly as before—no dash warning lights or workarounds needed.
What wheel size does the kit fit?
This particular Accord build runs 19-inch wheels, and the kit was confirmed to clear them without spacers.
What's included in the front and rear kits?
Front: TTSPORT 9040 forged six-piston calipers with 362x32mm high-carbon heat-treated rotors. Rear: TTSPORT 6411 cast four-piston calipers with integrated EPB motors, 355x28mm high-carbon heat-treated rotors, and stainless steel brake lines.
