Ford Mustang Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Evolution EB6
A Mustang's engine only tells half the story — when the pedal goes soft under hard, repeated braking, driver confidence drops fast. This case comes from one of our partner shops: a Ford Mustang fitted with the TTSPORT Evolution Series EB6 big brake kit up front, aimed at giving the car a firmer, more linear pedal and more margin for hard stops.
Behind the Mustang's 20-inch wheel, the shop swapped in the TTSPORT EB6 forged six-piston caliper and a 390mm high-carbon heat-treated rotor. The goal wasn't just bigger hardware for looks — it was a stiffer caliper and more rotor mass to hold up under repeated hard braking without the pedal feeling like it's sinking.
Vehicle & Kit Specs
The front kit shipped as a complete axle set: EB6 caliper, rotor, a custom vehicle-specific bracket, street pads, stainless lines, brake fluid, and the mounting hardware needed to bolt it on without piecing together parts from different suppliers.

Why It Works
The EB6 is a two-piece forged caliper, and it's the first in the line to use a through-bolt reinforcement bar tying the two halves together. That extra structural link is what keeps the caliper from flexing under hard braking — flex is what turns a firm pedal into a mushy one, since some of your pedal effort gets absorbed by the caliper body instead of clamping the pad.
Inside, two-piece heat-insulated pistons with dust boots keep seal temperatures in check, so the caliper keeps working consistently through repeated hard stops instead of fading as things heat up.
- Six-piston, three-diameter (30/34/38mm) asymmetric layout evens out clamping pressure across the pad, which is what gives the pedal a more linear feel instead of an abrupt bite.
- The 390mm high-carbon heat-treated rotor adds mass and surface area over the stock disc, giving the system more heat capacity for repeated hard braking.
- Rotor size is offered in 380/390/410mm depending on wheel size, so the setup can be matched to the vehicle's wheel clearance rather than forcing one rotor size on every fitment.
