The new LC250 and GX550 are serious platforms – most builds only make them heavier. Steel bumpers, underbody protection, drawer systems, dual batteries, roof tents, and extra fuel or water all push the braking system well past the original design envelope.
The OR6 front kit is built around that overland reality: forged 6-piston calipers with 79 cm² (12.25 in²) of piston area and 34 mm thick high-carbon rotors that stay consistent on long gravel descents and mountain passes with full touring weight on board.
If your LC250 Prado or GX550 is being set up as a long-range tourer rather than a mall runner, OR6 is the front-end upgrade that makes the braking match the build.

Confirm your LC250 Prado or GX550 is running 17" or larger wheels that are compatible with a big brake kit.
Measure from the rotor mounting face to the back of the wheel spokes. You need at least 91 mm (3.58 in) of clearance.

Sometimes, aftermarket wheels can be tricky. Depending on the design, you might need spacers for clearance. We’ll do our best to help you figure it out, but issues related to wheel spacers don't qualify for a return.

We’ll likely ask you to confirm some measurements and send a few photos of your wheels. Please double-check everything you send us. TTSPORT isn't responsible for fitment issues if the specs you provided were off.
