The Toyota Land Cruiser 250 Prado and Lexus GX550 are built to travel, but real overland equipment adds weight fast. Steel armor, a winch, underbody protection, drawers, dual batteries, a roof tent, recovery gear, water, fuel, and 33-35 inch tire setups can push the factory front brakes beyond the way the vehicle was delivered.
The TTSPORT OR6 front big brake kit is designed for loaded off-road and touring use where pedal feel, heat capacity, and repeatable control matter more than a single hard stop. The forged 6-piston front calipers work with 34 mm thick heat-treated high-carbon cast iron rotors to help keep braking response predictable on mountain descents, loose gravel, washboard roads, and long highway grades with gear on board.
If your LC250 Prado or GX550 is being built for long-distance travel instead of stock curb-weight commuting, OR6 helps bring the braking system closer to the demands of the build.

Rotor sizing and wheel clearance must be confirmed against the exact kit configuration and wheel design being used. Do not rely on wheel diameter alone.
Confirm the LC250 Prado or GX550 is running 17 inch or larger wheels. Oversized tires do not confirm brake clearance; the inner wheel barrel still has to clear the caliper and rotor package.
Measure from the rotor mounting face to the back of the wheel spokes. The OR6 matched specification requires at least 91 mm of spoke clearance.
Verify the vehicle is a Toyota LC250 Prado or Lexus GX550 and confirm trim, factory brake package, wheel specs, and intended load before installation.
