TTSPORT Evolution ES6 Six-Piston Big Brake Kit Upgrade
A spongy, long-travel pedal is usually a caliper problem before it's ever a pad problem. Factory single- or twin-piston sliding calipers flex under load and can't press evenly across the pad face. TTSPORT built the Evolution ES6 to fix that with a fixed, six-piston front caliper designed as a bolt-on step up from OEM hardware — not a track-only setup that forces you into new wheels to make it clear the spokes.
A Front Caliper Built to Bolt On, Not Force a Wheel Swap
The ES6 is a front-axle platform engineered around 18-inch and larger factory wheels, so most owners don't need to buy new wheels alongside the brakes. It pairs with a vehicle-specific radial-mount bracket and a recommended rotor of Ø355–380 mm by 32 mm — big enough to add real heat capacity over a factory disc without turning the swap into a full track-car conversion.
The caliper body is a two-piece forged aluminum unit finished in a high-temperature gloss coating. Net weight comes in at 3.95 kg per caliper without pads — light enough to keep unsprung mass in check, stiff enough to resist the deflection that softens pedal feel on stock hardware.
Why Six Pistons Change the Way the Pedal Feels
A soft pedal isn't usually about pad compound — it's about how evenly clamping force gets applied across the pad face. A factory sliding caliper pushes from one side and lets the caliper body itself flex to bring the other pad into contact, which eats pedal travel and consistency as things heat up.
Fixed, Six-Piston Clamping
The ES6 uses six two-piece, heat-insulated pistons — 27 mm x2, 32 mm x2, 38 mm x2 — arranged to spread pressure across the full length of the pad rather than concentrating it at one edge. Combined piston area comes out to 50.2 cm² per caliper, all six pistons together.
Because the pistons are two-piece and heat-insulated, less heat from the pad backing plate transfers into the brake fluid. That matters under repeated hard stops: fluid that stays cooler resists boiling, and fluid that resists boiling keeps the pedal firm instead of going long and mushy after a few laps or a few hard mountain-road stops.

Wheel and Rotor Fitment
TTSPORT publishes a minimum spoke clearance of 99 mm for the ES6, which lets a shop or owner check a specific wheel's spoke pocket before ordering instead of guessing and hoping. The caliper is sized around that Ø355–380 mm by 32 mm rotor range and is meant to clear 18-inch or larger factory wheels — the whole point is a caliper upgrade that doesn't drag a wheel upgrade along with it.
Because brake line fittings differ from car to car, TTSPORT specifies caliper-side and chassis-side fittings per application rather than shipping a single universal line. That's a small detail, but it's the kind of thing that decides whether a big brake kit is a clean bolt-on or a fabrication project.
- Radial-mount bracket keeps the caliper centered on the rotor without shims or spacers.
- Two-piece forged body resists flex, so pedal input goes into clamping force instead of caliper deflection.
- Vehicle-specific hardware means fitment is checked against real spoke and rotor dimensions before the kit ships.
