Volkswagen CC Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 8703S

The Volkswagen CC has always traded on its coupe-like profile and frameless doors, but the factory brakes underneath never quite matched the car's looks. This build swaps in TTSPORT's TT8703S monobloc six-piston kit — a bigger caliper, a bigger rotor, and stainless lines — to back up that "most handsome VW" reputation with real stopping power.

This CC had already been through a rear brake upgrade with TTSPORT's TT9040 six-piston kit in a previous round. This time the front end gets the TT8703S — a monobloc six-piston caliper paired with a 380x34mm high-carbon heat-treated curved-vane rotor and stainless steel brake lines, all fitted behind the car's stock 19-inch wheels.

Vehicle & Kit Specs

Straight out of the box: the TT8703S caliper, rotor, and hardware laid out before install. The caliper's one-piece cast body is built to hold up under sustained heat without flexing, and the opposed six-piston layout is meant to push pad force more evenly across the rotor surface.

Why It Works

• The TT8703S caliper's one-piece cast construction resists flex under hard braking, which keeps pedal feel firm instead of going soft when the pads clamp down.
• The 380x34mm curved-vane rotor adds mass and surface area over the stock disc, giving the system more thermal capacity and helping clear pad dust and heat between stops.
• The caliper and rotor package was sized to clear the CC's factory 19-inch wheels, so no spacers or aftermarket wheel swap are needed to run the kit.
• The Dacromet-coated rotor surface resists corrosion, which keeps the setup looking clean behind the wheel long after install.
