Mitsubishi Outlander Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 5410
The Mitsubishi Outlander is one of the few mainstream 7-seat SUVs on the market, and the China-spec version pairs that practicality with a 2.4L gas engine that pulls strong off the line and through mid-range passes. The stock brakes, though, are sized for everyday commuting — not for hauling a full cabin at speed or repeated hard stops. This build swaps in a TTSPORT TT5410 four-piston big brake kit paired with a 355x32mm rotor, all fitted behind the factory 18-inch wheels.

Why It Works
The TT5410 caliper uses a two-piece forged aluminum body, which keeps the structure light — 3.18 kg per side — while resisting the flex that a stock single- or dual-piston caliper can suffer under hard braking. Less flex means the pedal moves brake pad, not caliper housing, so the pedal feels firmer and more predictable.
- Four-piston clamping with a combined piston area of 49cm² spreads force more evenly across the pad
- The 355mm high-carbon rotor adds mass and swept area over the stock disc, giving the system more thermal capacity to resist fade
- Stainless steel lines cut hose expansion under pressure, so pedal input translates directly into clamping force
- The 355mm rotor was sized to fill the factory 18-inch wheel, so the kit fits without spacers
