Li Auto ONE Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 8703

Li Auto ONE pairs a 1.2T range-extender with dual permanent-magnet motors for 240 kW and 530 Nm, good for a 6.5-second 0-60 run in a full-size SUV. That's a lot of mass and torque for a stock single-piston caliper to manage. The owner of this ONE went with TTSPORT's TT8703 cast six-piston kit up front to bring stopping power in line with how quickly the car gets moving.

The install swaps the factory front brakes for TTSPORT's TT8703 cast six-piston caliper and a 380x34mm high-carbon heat-treated curved-vane rotor, running behind the ONE's factory 20-inch wheels.

In TTSPORT's own braking tests, the TT8703 setup came out ahead of the stock brakes for stopping distance. Just as important for a daily-driven ONE, the multi-piston caliper gives a more controllable, stable pedal than the factory single-piston floating caliper.

Why It Works

• A cast six-piston caliper clamps the rotor from six points instead of one, spreading pad pressure more evenly and cutting the flex that makes a single-piston caliper feel vague under hard braking.
• The 380x34mm rotor puts more mass and surface area in contact with the pads than the stock disc, giving the system more thermal capacity to resist fade when the ONE's weight and torque are working against it.
• High-carbon heat-treated construction with a curved-vane design helps the rotor shed heat and resist corrosion over time.
• A vehicle-specific TTSPORT bracket sets the caliper and rotor at the correct offset to run behind the factory 20-inch wheels.

Installation Gallery

The stock brake hardware comes off first, followed by axle cleanup and mounting the dust shield and TTSPORT bracket. The rotor goes on next — note the directional vane pattern, which must face the direction of wheel rotation — then the caliper, with the TTSPORT logo oriented outward and the bleeder facing up. A light coat of grease on the hub face helps the wheel seat and return properly before it goes back on for a test drive.
