Geely Xingyue S Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 6410
The factory brakes on the Geely Xingyue S do the job in daily traffic, but push the car harder — mountain roads, a loaded cabin, repeated stops from speed — and the stock floating caliper and thin single-piece rotor start to feel soft underfoot. Pedal travel grows, the initial bite gets vague, and the driver ends up pressing further into the pedal just to get the same stop. This case swaps the stock front brakes for a TTSPORT TT6410 big brake kit, an OEM+ upgrade built to bolt into the factory wheel and hub without reinventing the rest of the car.
Vehicle & Kit Specs
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Vehicle | Geely Xingyue S — front axle brake upgrade |
| Front caliper | TTSPORT TT6410 forged fixed caliper |
| Front rotor | TTSPORT performance rotor, larger diameter than the factory disc |
| Bracket | Vehicle-specific caliper bracket engineered for direct bolt-on installation to the stock knuckle |
| Pads / lines | Performance brake pads paired with stainless steel brake lines |
| Hardware | Mounting hardware and brake fluid included in the kit |
Why It Works
A stock floating caliper squeezes the rotor from one side and relies on a sliding pin to bring the opposite pad into contact — a design that's cheap and compact but flexes under hard, repeated braking, which is what shows up as a mushy, less predictable pedal. The TT6410's forged fixed caliper clamps from both sides at once, so the caliper body stays rigid under load and pedal effort translates more directly into clamping force instead of getting absorbed by flex.
A larger rotor gives the pad more surface to work against and more mass to soak up heat, which delays fade on repeated hard stops. TTSPORT designs each kit's bracket and caliper offset around the vehicle it's built for, so the package is meant to clear the factory wheel design rather than force a wheel or spacer change.
- Forged fixed caliper clamps from both sides, resisting flex under hard braking.
- Larger rotor adds surface area and heat capacity to delay fade.
- Stainless lines resist the ballooning that rubber lines can suffer under pressure, so pedal feel stays consistent stop after stop.
Installation Notes
The install follows the same logic as any bolt-on big brake kit: the stock caliper and rotor come off, the TTSPORT bracket goes on the factory knuckle mounting points, the new rotor and forged caliper are installed onto the bracket, and the stainless lines replace the factory rubber lines before the system is bled. Because the bracket and caliper offset are matched to the Xingyue S's hub geometry, no extra machining or adapter parts are needed to get everything lined up.
