Audi Big Brake Kit Upgrade / TTSPORT Classic 8657
On July 13, 2019, roughly a thousand modified cars filled the paddock at Guangdong International Circuit (GIC) in Zhaoqing for the 12th AIBO Super Grand Prix, held alongside the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Auto Culture Festival. TTSPORT big brake kits showed up across the grid, on everything from a six-piston Audi to drum-to-disc Honda Fit builds.
Event & Vehicle Lineup
TTSPORT flags stood over the paddock through the whole event, and its brake kits kept turning up on cars of very different sizes and wheel fitments. That spread is really the point of a full product lineup: a compact hatchback and a mid-size sedan don't need the same caliper, and showing up in force at a grassroots event like AIBO means the right kit exists for whatever's on the grid.
Three builds stood out. An Audi ran the TTSPORT TT8657, a forged six-piston caliper built for larger wheels. A number of Honda Fit entries ran a TTSPORT front direct-mount kit together with a rear drum-to-disc conversion, a setup built specifically for that platform. And several Suzuki Swift cars ran the TTSPORT TT7609, a four-piston caliper sized for smaller wheels.

Why It Works
The mechanics behind each of these kits are straightforward. A forged fixed caliper like the TT8657 doesn't flex under load the way a floating stock caliper can, so pedal input translates more directly into clamping force instead of getting absorbed by caliper deflection. That matters more, not less, once a car is doing repeated hard stops on track.
- Six-piston forged construction on the TT8657 keeps clamping force even across a larger pad, and the 3.90 kg per-caliper weight keeps that upgrade from adding unsprung mass at the corner.
- The Fit's front direct-mount kit and rear drum-to-disc conversion were built to that platform's geometry, so the swap goes on without improvised spacers or adapters.
- The TT7609's four-piston layout is sized to clear 15-inch and 16-inch wheels, which is why it was the kit of choice on Swift entries running smaller factory wheel sizes.
